A gallery of images mainly of 1024 x 768 size. This group was taken recently in the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The images focus on the mainly on the impressive medieval Minster church, one of the greatest structures of it's type anywhere in Europe.

The interior of the chancel This contains a wealth of stone and wood carving, especially that of the stalls (below), expansive windows and an unusual painted ceiling.

The original 15th century choir stalls with an array of many different and unusual carvings. These are amongst the best of the comparatively few medieval misercord carvings to have survived in Britain.
