A gallery of images mainly of 1024 x 768 size. This group was taken recently in the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The images focus on the mainly on the impressive medieval Minster church, one of the greatest structures of it's type anywhere in Europe.

| The choir aisles, chapels and transepts. Left: The steps to nowhere. This ornate staircase once led to the chapter (meeting) house of the priests, an external octagonal building demolished in the 16th century. Below left: an ornate tomb of an earl in the bare Percy chapel. Below: A view up into the north east of the transepts of the choir. The Minster is one of the very few churches anywhere in Britain to have a second pair of transepts. |
