A gallery of images mainly of 1024 x 768 size. This group was taken recently in the town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The images focus on the mainly on the impressive medieval Minster church, one of the greatest structures of it's type anywhere in Europe.

Beverley Minster The soaring western facade of the church, and two further images of the towers from in front of the south entrance to the nave. The exterior is cluttered with architectural details and a variety of sculpture; some medieval though many of the statues are Victorian replacements. |

The vast and lengthy interior of the nave, surprisingly light and filled with a wealth of original medieval carving. An elaborate tomb canopy can be glimpsed between the arches. |
