The grounds of the centre include a large peace garden within which the stupa and other monuments are situated, including this sculpture of Buddha, as the centre piece of a large lily filled pond.

In front of the stupa another, earlier pond is dominated by an island connected by a wooden bridge.

An avenue of prayer flags leads towards the main stupa.

Below: some of a series of smaller stupa's which line the second entrance to the site. The low copper roofed building just seen in the bottom right photo, contains thousands of 'butter' lamps which are lit during festivals and for other significant events.
