Croft-on-Tees church. An ancient building beside the river tees and adjacent to the impressive stone bridge that spans it. The church contains some impressive monuments, one of which displays 17th century armour. The father of Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, was once rector of this church. |

The church and village are located 4 miles to the south of Darlington.

An ancient and isolated church set in a quiet wooded valley. The
churchyard was awash with daffodils and it was amazingly warm for March,
especially in the Moors.
